How do I see a folder that isn’t in Folvista?
On Folvista’s main screen, tap Add folder and choose it. Folvista only opens the folders you pick, and it keeps access to them until you remove them.
How do I remove a connected folder?
On Folvista’s main screen, touch and hold the folder and choose Remove…. Nothing inside it is deleted or moved: the files stay where they are.
A folder says “Reauthorize”. What happened?
iOS no longer lets Folvista open it — for example, after it was renamed or moved in the Files app. Tap Reauthorize and choose the folder again.
Why does a photo or video take a moment to open?
If it shows a cloud, it lives in iCloud Drive and isn’t on your device yet. Folvista downloads it when you open it. It never downloads your whole drive by itself.
How do I see only photos and videos?
Open a folder and choose Photos & Videos. Turn on Include subfolders to see everything inside it at once.
How do I start a slideshow?
In a folder’s gallery or in the viewer, tap Slideshow. You can choose how long each photo stays, the transition, the order, and what to do with videos.
I deleted something by mistake.
Look in Trash, under Collections on Folvista’s main screen. Items in Folvista’s own folder stay there for 30 days. In iCloud Drive and other locations, Folvista uses that location’s own trash when it has one, and warns you before deleting anything permanently.
Does Folvista need an account or an internet connection?
No. There is no account and no subscription, and the app works offline. You only need a connection for iOS to download files that are in iCloud Drive.
Can Folvista see my photo library?
No. It only asks to add to it, when you choose Save to Photos. See the privacy policy.
