Privacy Policy

1. Responsible party

Alba Digital, with its address in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy, under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

This policy covers the Folvista app for iPhone and iPad and the site folvista.albadigital.com.mx.

2. What we don’t collect

Folvista does not collect, store on our side, sell or share any information about you or your device. The app makes no network connections of its own and contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code. On the App Store its privacy label is Data Not Collected.

3. What stays on your device

To work, Folvista keeps some information on your device only. We never receive it:

• An index and thumbnails of the photos and videos in the folders you open, so the gallery is fast.
• Your favorites, recent items, the Trash and your settings, such as slideshow preferences.
• A record of file operations in progress (moving, copying, deleting), so an interrupted operation can be finished or undone safely. It stores internal identifiers, not file names.
• Access to the folders you choose. You can remove a folder from Folvista at any time.

Deleting Folvista removes all of this. As iOS warns when you delete it, files you saved in Folvista’s own folder (On My iPhone › Folvista) are removed too.

4. Your photos, files and permissions

• Folders and iCloud Drive. Folvista only opens the locations you choose. Files in iCloud Drive are synced by Apple under Apple’s terms, not by us.
• Photos. Folvista only asks to add to your photo library, when you choose to save a photo or video there. It never reads your library.
• Sharing. When you share, Folvista hands the file to the iOS share sheet. You pick where it goes; the app does not see or record the destination. For photos with a location, the share sheet lets you remove it.

5. Purchases and crash reports

Folvista is sold through the App Store. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your name, email or payment details, only aggregated sales figures from Apple.

If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

6. Support emails

If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you and to fix the problem you report. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your message with anyone.

7. This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Like any web server, our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify you.

8. Third parties involved

• Apple Inc. — distribution of the app, purchases, crash reports if you enabled them, and iCloud Drive sync. Governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
• Hosting provider — serves this site and handles the technical connection data described above.
• Email provider — receives support messages in Alba Digital’s mailbox.

None of them is authorized to use this information for purposes of its own other than providing its service to us, except Apple under its own policy.

9. Retention

Server logs are kept for short periods, as operations and security require. Support messages are kept while they are useful to handle your request and follow up, and are deleted when they no longer are or when you ask us to.

10. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition (in Mexico, your ARCO rights), or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@albadigital.com.mx. Tell us your name, a way to reach you and which right you want to exercise; we will answer within the time limits set by the LFPDPPP.

Because Folvista keeps no accounts or user profiles, in most cases we hold no identifiable personal data to correct or delete. If you wrote to support, we can delete your messages on request.

11. Children

Folvista collects no data from anyone, including children. If you believe a minor sent us personal data by email, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

Any update will be published on this page with its revision date. If a change ever meant collecting data, we would say so in the app before it happened.
